Hello, I'm Haram Park 🙌
I am a PhD student in Information Science at Chung-Ang University in South Korea, a subfield of the Department of Library and Information Science. I also work in the HIKE Lab., which focuses on data-driven research, particularly knowledge graph, data science and artificial intelligence. I'm advised by Prof. Haklae Kim.
I aim for practical research to solve real-world problems. My research interests are in knowledge engineering and computational social science, specifically the application of computational techniques to the social science challenges. I'm particularly interested in building a large-scale knowledge graph that generates machine-understandable and high-quality data, as well as analyzing social data using data science techniques. My latest studies focus on the application of FAIR data principles, which facilitates data sharing and reuse. Other interests include open data, metadata and natural language processing.
In my free time, I enjoy watching netflix series (The Politician(favorite 💖), The Glory(latest ✨)) and hanging with my little chihuahua 🐶.
